Our Candles

All of our candles are hand made
Our candles are made from 100% Pure Canadian Beeswax, using all natural wicks.
Our candles are non-toxic, non allergenic, non carcinogenic, all natural and non polluting.
Our candles are longer burning than any other candles including vegetable and soy waxes, costing only pennies an hour to burn.
Our candles burn with a bright golden halo while exuding a natural, aromatheric honey essence.
You will never need to ‘pour off’ the wax with our candles but you will need to trim the wick and keep the length at approximately 3/16”. If the wick is kept longer your candle will burn with a larger flame and can result in the wax leaking out the sides.
You can tell if the wick is too long because the candle will start to smoke, a properly burning candle should have no smoke.
Ideally your candles should be extinguished using a snuffer.
Be wary of candles that use metal or lead wicks, these release toxins when burned.

Beeswax:  

Beeswax is produced by honey bees from nectar they collect from flowers. Bees transform this into honey, royal jelly, bee pollen and beeswax.
Literally millions of flowers have been visited to make any one beeswax candle.
Burning beeswax candles leaves the air fresher and cleaner.
Healing and spiritual powers have been attributed to all products from the beehive.

Paraffin:  

Paraffin is the final residue left from refining crude oil.
Paraffin, which is not a true wax, consists mainly of a mixture of saturated straight-chain solid hydrocarbons.
Paraffin must be blended with chemicals to be able to release fragrances.
Paraffin candles may not burn completely.
Burning paraffin wax emits harmful vapors and black soot because it is oil-based
Paraffin wax spills do not cleanup easily.

Pure Beeswax Candles are the only candles for people with chemical sensitivities or allergies. Our candles cost only pennies an hour to burn.
Beeswax burns slow and efficiently and burn perfectly to the bottom unlike paraffin candles.
Any leftover from a beeswax candle can be added to your next one.
Paraffin candles can cost as much as 1$ an hour to burn.
Paraffin is fast burning and usually burns right down the middle of the candle and are very messy.

If you are going to burn a candle, there is no healthier or more cost efficient candle than our beeswax candles. Their long burning time offsets the initially higher cost. Our Candles are solid beeswax, not rolled sheets of beeswax.
